Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) is holding two workshops under the iEARN-Qatar program for teacher development. The first workshop, takes place on October 15th. The aim of the workshop is to introduce iEARN and iEARN projects to the participants, providing the teachers with the tools to implement projects in their classroom, and to collaborate online with their peers globally through the iEARN network.

About iEARN Qatar

The International Education and Resource Network (iEARN) is a non-profit organization that connects schools and youth organizations worldwide via a virtual network to empower young people, encourage inter-scholastic collaboration, and debate world issues in real time. The program was an ideal platform for teachers development, as participants can take advantage of the collaborative features of the iEARN to meet national requirements, as well as for self-development purposes.  

Reach Out to Asia is the sole representative for iEARN in Qatar since 2008. iEARN projects’ main objectives are to improve learning and teaching, integrate technology in schools curriculum, enhance students’ expression and understanding of the world, develop an appreciation for cultural diversity and tolerance, and arouse civil awareness and responsibility.
