Vocational High School for Ceramic & Textile
Upon approval, TITIAN will engage the Architect to finalize the design and outline the material requirements for construction. Once a request for tender has been issued, a regular tendering process will follow in which the bids of 3-5 contractors will be evaluated and contract awarded on the basis of technical and financial considerations. The total estimated time for the selection of a contractor is 1 month; and the total estimated time for construction of the vocational school is 16 months.
By mid-July 2009, or at the beginning of the new school year in 2009, the SMK vocational school should be open to students. This plan has been communicated to the community and brochures and leaflets are being designed and prepared to ensure that students are enrolled in time. The students of SMPI Bayat are aware of the upcoming school in their vicinity, so that they can plan accordingly.
