Sports for Promoting Equity and Quality in Education (1 in 11)
The project is focused on using after-school activities as a gateway to building social capital between different groups of children and adolescents. This helps to ensure that children of different ethnicity and economic backgrounds feel equally engaged in school by reducing stigma and enhancing social bonds. It should be noted that the project’s original outcome framework to tackle the challenges of social inclusion has been revised due to funding restraints.
